Common Effluent Treatment Plant (CETP)

Powered by Rain Power Filtration | Crafting the Future of Clean Water

About CETP

Common Effluent Treatment Plants (CETPs) are centralized treatment systems developed to collect, treat, and dispose of industrial wastewater from multiple small and medium-scale industries. These units offer an economical and space-saving solution while ensuring compliance with environmental discharge norms.

Working Process

  • Collection & Equalization: Industrial effluents from multiple sources are collected in a central tank to homogenize flow and load.
  • Screening: Removal of large solids and debris using bar screens.
  • Physico-Chemical Treatment: Coagulation & flocculation for suspended solids and heavy metal removal.
  • Primary Settling: Sedimentation tank for sludge separation.
  • Biological Treatment: Aeration tank with MBBR/FAB technology to reduce BOD & COD.
  • Secondary Clarification: Final settling for treated water clarification.
  • Filtration: Dual media filters (MGF + ACF) followed by optional ultrafiltration.
  • Disinfection: Chlorination or UV system before discharge or reuse.
