Material of Construction (MOC)
| Type | Description |
|---|---|
| SS 304 / SS 316 | Corrosion resistant, hygienic, used in RO, food, pharma, and high-purity applications |
| MS (Bare) | Heavy-duty for industrial applications – painted externally, used for raw water/ETP |
| MS + FRP Lining | Internally FRP coated for chemical resistance with MS structure |
| MS + Rubber Lining | For acid/alkali/effluent use where mechanical and chemical resistance is required |
| FRP | Lightweight, corrosion-resistant, ideal for medium pressure and compact systems |
Working Process
- Water enters through the inlet nozzle at top or side.
- Passes through the filter bed (sand, carbon, resin, etc.).
- Filtration media retains turbidity, TSS, odor, chlorine, or hardness based on system use.
- Filtered water exits via the underdrain and outlet nozzle.
- Periodically, a backwash cycle (manual or automatic) reverses flow to clean the media.
Applications
- Sand, Carbon, Dual Media Filtration Units
- Softeners, Iron Removers, DM Pretreatment
- RO Plant Pretreatment Skids
- STP, ETP, and ZLD Plant Clarification & Recovery
- Portable & Containerized Treatment Plants
- Industrial and Utility Water Systems
